Product Safety, Compatibility and Installation Notice

Scooter parts affect braking, steering, folding, electrical power and structural integrity. Stop use immediately if a component is cracked, loose, swollen, overheating, sparking, emitting odour, behaving unpredictably or subject to a safety notice.

Before opening sealed component packaging or installing a part, compare:

• scooter brand, exact model and hardware revision;
• original part number/OEM number;
• dimensions, tyre/tube size and mounting points;
• voltage, current and power rating;
• connector shape, pin count, pinout and cable routing;
• front/rear and left/right position; and
• firmware or controller/display pairing requirements.

If any item differs or is uncertain, do not install or energise the part; contact Scootory.

Competent professional installation is strongly recommended for brakes, steering, folding mechanisms, motors, batteries, controllers, chargers, displays and structural parts. Installation advice cannot override manufacturer instructions or local vehicle rules.

Each product page should display, where required and available: product identifier/SKU, manufacturer name and contact, EU responsible person for non-EU manufacturers, relevant warnings, compatibility, and a link to safety/recall contact. A product must remain unpublished until required GPSR and sector-specific information is verified.

Rules for electric scooters and modifications vary. The customer is responsible for lawful road use, but Scootory remains responsible for accurate product claims and mandatory product compliance. A part being offered for sale does not by itself mean that a modified scooter is legal on public roads in every country.

Email support@scootory.shop with the subject line “URGENT PRODUCT SAFETY”. Include the order number, product name/SKU, photographs where safe to take, and a description of the incident. Stop using the product immediately and do not discard it unless we instruct you to.
